HORSE GRAM (KULTHI DAL) RECIPES FOR WEIGHT LOSS- Winter Has Arrived




Horse gram dal (Kulthi dal) is great for :

f. Contain high protein & fiber content.

 



INGREDIENT






💜 Horse Gram (Kulthi Dal) = 1/2 Cup

💜 Water = 3 cup (250 ml )

💜 Turmeric = 1 Table Spoon (Tbsp)

💜 Salt = As per Taste                                      💜 Garlic & Ginger Paste = 1 Table Spoon (Tbsp)

💜 Ghee = 1 Table Spoon (Tbsp)                     💜 Onion = 1 medium size 

💜 Mustard Seeds = 1 Table Spoon (Tbsp)      💜 Tomato = 1 medium size

 💜 Cumin Seeds = 1 Table Spoon (Tbsp)        💜 Red Chilli Powder = 1 Table Spoon (Tbsp)

💜 Asafoetida (Hing) = 1/4 Table Spoon (Tbsp)  💜 Coriander Powder = 1 Table Spoon (Tbsp)

💜 Coriander Leaves = 1 Hand full


                                                          STEP BY STEP RECIPE





Step 1 First step, Soak Horse Gram in 1 cup of water Overnight.

Step 2 Next day, add soaked horse gram & 3 cup of water in pressure cooker and add salt as per taste along with tumeric.

Step 3 Close the cooker and cook for 7- 8 Whistles and keep aside.

Step 4 Next step add Ghee on a pan on a medium flame & add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and asafoetida and saute for few minute.

Step 5 Now add Ginger & Garlic paste, saute it & cook on medium flame for 2 minutes.

Step 6 Add chopped onion, saute until onions are golden brown, add tomato, chilli powder and coriander powder and cook for 5 min on low flame.

Step 7 Now add horse gram into pan. Mix & Stir for 4 minute @ low flame and turn off flame.

Step 8 Garnish with Chopped Coriander Leaves (Handful).
